The cavernous interior has many interactive parts and exhibits that keep things lively and entertaining for all ages. The massive collection includes over 12,000 hours of film and video as well as a half a million photographs. There are also over 130,000 pieces of memorabilia from ancient game tickets to baseball cards featuring players from one hundred years ago.
The Hockey Hall of Fame is based in Toronto, Ontario and dates back to the 1940’s. It was not until 1961 however that professional hockey opened the doors to its Hall of Fame and Museum in Toronto. There is a specially built locker room dedicated to the history of the Montreal Canadiens who are considered to be the most storied franchise in the history of North American hockey. Visitors can marvel at the space and the feel and even try on various uniforms and equipment. There are portraits of all 350 members, an actual sized rink, and a ton of interactive games to enjoy.
