Chicago’s art scene continues to thrive and make noise and September will be no exception. Two major art fairs will hit town mid month beginning with the Fountain Art Fair running from September 20-22. It will be an art fair offering alternative art works from a company based in Brooklyn, NY.
The Fountain Fair will bring around twenty five galleries to town. The Fountain Fair will take place in Pilsen at the Mana Contemporary. The Expo Chicago Fair will take place over the same weekend as the Fountain Fair and will be situated at the Navy Pier.
In addition to all of the art fair excitement, three new art galleries have recently opened their doors in the city. Located in the UkranianVillage at the site of an old manufacturing facility, The Milk Factory recently held its opening gala and looks forward to a long stay at their current location.
Paris London Hong Kong is located at the West Loop and has begun to show some unusual fare as well as many pieces that were banned during Senator Joe McCarthy’s with hunts in the 1950’s. Finally, the Dos Perros Project gallery has opened in West Town and features such eclectic works by artists who demonstrate a certain attitude and a certain love of humor and the absurd.
The Fine Art Studio of Rotblatt-Amrany offers a variety of amazing works of art by several extremely talented artists. To view some of our most recent pieces, visit our website!
