Tribute to George S. Halas – Sports Commission Sculpture


George Halas, lovingly referred to as "Papa Bear", was a football player, coach, and owner, in addition to founding the Chicago Bears. Hallas was one of the first 17 inductees into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. This black granite tribute features laser etchings of Hallas and his team, along with a bronze sculpture of Papa Bear. This impressive memorial can be seen at Soldier Field in Chicago, IL and was created by Julie Rotblatt-Amrany.
